Healing From Trauma with Colette Lopane Capella & Narcisa Sierra – A Virtual Workshop

November 18, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Feeling is healing…

In cases where there is trauma, your responses are NORMAL reactions to ABNORMAL events. Healing can take time and it’s not linear. In this workshop, Colette and Narcisa will offer science-backed methods to help participants understand the impact of trauma, process its effects and heal.

A traumatic event can lead to chronic stress and have long-term systemic effects, including:

  • Heart disease
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Gastrointestinal illness
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Feelings of despair, guilt, and shame
  • Emotional numbness
  • Cognitive impairment such as memory lapses, difficulty making decisions, distractibility, withdrawal from your typical routine, and even a lost sense of time

During this presentation, participants will have an opportunity to participate in a group exercise using inner child healing and left handed writing. At the end of the presentation we hope that attendees will have a better understanding of trauma and its impact on their nervous system, with specific tools to take away.

Direct tools will be introduced and shared with participants during the presentation so participants can use these amazing skills on their own and continue to heal.

Healing through trauma offers hope and resilience.  Register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZErd-qtqzMjH9w2Wh2iVQLSGh_P8dW7pj3n
